Group Dynamics:
Group dynamics are a huge part of our lives.
They are part of
our home life, our work, our extended family and friends and any group
activity we do.
Any kind of group is the strongest when each person is
able to bring all of who they are to the table.
Some of the questions we have to ask are:
- Why is it so easy to work with some people?
- Why do I react so strongly to some people and not
others?
- How do we, as individuals, maintain our individuality
while we are in
the group?
- How do we, as a group, create a safe environment for
everyone to truly be
who they really are?
Seminar
Topics:
1) Optimal
Group Dynamics: Using the C.A.P.S. Personality
Model for optimal group communication and creativity
The C.A.P.S. Personality Model is a fascinating system
that explains how people work together.
We
each have a specific role that we tend to play in groups.
Understanding this and being able to recognize certain
behaviour
patterns in other people allows greater ease when working together
because you understand where each other is coming from.
This is
an effective and surprisingly simple tool that is helpful in marriages,
family interactions and workplace dynamics. Once you
understand
it, you will see it wherever you go!
2) Innovative
Problem-Solving: Using the natural characteristics of
everyone in your
group to create new, "out-of-the-box" solutions

This seminar combines the C.A.P.S. Personality Model
from the first seminar with classical brainstorming techniques.
Each
of us contributes in a different way when problem-solving.
When
we understand everyone's different roles, it is possible for everyone
to
shine.
This problem-solving model will create solutions that
you
can't come up with on your own. It uses the synergy of the
group
to create something brand new.
