Igniting our Inner Light

I have always wanted to help people – one of those save-the-world types. I have wanted to make people happy – one of those people-pleaser types. I have always wanted to learn more and share it with others so that we can all make better choices for ourselves.

I have studied (to various depths) psychology, philosophy, religions, mind/body/spirit, yoga, tai chi, qigong, natural healing, Chinese medicine, quantum physics, and mathematics. I teach meditation, kundalini yoga, enrichment courses, natural healing, ayurvedic philosophy, yogic philosophy, bellydance, ballroom dance, etc...

I have always been searching for the perfect tool to “make everybody better”. But I now know that it's not about me fixing anyone.  It's about coming to a place where we can truly love our lives. It's about being happy in every cell in our bodies.

In the end, it boils down to igniting our inner light. (I know that it's always lit - but it sure doesn't feel like it's burning very brightly too often!!!)

This is the goal of all of these techniques. In Chinese medicine, for all of its brilliant food, herb and lifestyle remedies, when the spirit and heart are burning strong, everything else works perfectly. It has the strongest effect on everything else. Fix the spirit and heal your body.

This was the number one finding that is the core of my book, “What If You Could Skip the Cancer?”. After my own healing experience and studying others' spontaneous healing experiences, regardless of what treatment path they took, those who survived healed their spirits. They truly wanted to live from their deepest core – no depression, no unfulfilled hopes, nothing holding them back. They truly started to live according to their own light – and the sickness was no longer.

The point of the book is to not require a life-threatening catalyst to really start living according to your own spirit. But how do we do it? How do we heal our lives without losing what we have? How do we reignite the spark that was put out for a million good reasons? How do we get it back?

Everything that I teach in some way boils down to this. Perhaps it is kundalini yoga that moves the blockages in our physical and energy bodies so that we can move on, get out of pain, and start loving life. Maybe it is meditation that heals our minds and brings us to a quiet place so that we can hear our own inner guidance. Or maybe it is bellydance that helps us to love ourselves and have all kinds of fun – which definitely fills our heart and ignites our spirit.

It could be seminars, workshops, or private consultations on intuition, finding our path, PTSD, intimate relationships, or anything else that is needed to heal our lives and provide new tools to live together authentically – fanning each others' inner flames – not putting them out.
